CHARLESTON W.Va.—Led by junior guard, Drew Rackely the Golden Eagles claimed their second MEC victory of the season over the Blue Knights of Urbana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Blue Knights jumped ahead early, leading by eight points merely six minutes into the contest, but the Golden Eagles closed the gap taking their first lead of the game with 10 minutes to play in the first half. The Golden Eagles continued to build their lead to head into the half up 40-34 over Urbana.
The Golden Eagles shot a steady 52 percent in the first half, Adam Traore led the charge with 12 points while Devon Robinson brought down four rebounds. The Blue Knights were led by Ethan Snapp who tallied 11 points to start the game.
After the half, the Golden Eagles continued to shoot 50 percent from the field, although the Blue Knight were able to outscore Charleston 45-41 in the second. Urbana went 19-21 from the charity stripe, and 42 percent from the field. Drew Rackely led the Golden Eagles with 11 points in the second, while Urbana's Snapp notched 25 points in the second half.
Charleston came away with the 81-79 victory improving to 6-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
