CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles women's basketball team continued their undefeated campaign of the MEC with a 78-63 victory over the Urbana Blue Knights. Senior guard, Raziyah Farrington led the charge, dropping 30 points in the victory.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles came out hot, outscoring the Blue Knights 32-9 in the first quarter. Urbana climbed their way back into the game in each remaining quarter.
The Blue Knights shot 61 percent from the field in the second quarter, outscoring the Golden Eagles 18-14, but the Golden Eagles would hold their lead heading into the break, with a score of 46-27.
After the break, the Golden Eagles maintained their lead, led by Farrington the Golden Eagles build at 19-point advantage moving into the final period. The Blue Knights outscored Charleston in the fourth 17-13, but they were unable to break the lead build by UC.
Charleston moved to 5-0 in MEC play with the 78-63 victory.
