READING, Pa. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles took game one against the Bloomsburg Huskies on Sunday 6-4 moving on to game 10 of the Atlantic Regional. Charleston went on to fall to the Millersville Marauders 8-17 to end their Historic 36-win season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
The Golden Eagles downed the Bloomsburg Huskies 6-4 to move on to play Millersville University in game 10.
Austin Henrich (6-3) took the win for the Golden Eagles finishing 6.1 innings after allowing four hits and three runs. Chad Cooperman took the loss moving to 2-4 on the season.
Eight of the Golden Eagles' nine batters tallied one hit including sophomore center fielder, Colby Johnson who went 3-for-3 at the plate. Morello, Davis, Cartt, and Arrington each tallied RBIs in the win.
The Huskies were led by Shane Woelfel who went 1-of-2 with one run and one RBI.
Game 2
The Marauders came out hot scoring four runs in the top of the first inning, followed by another 4-run second inning that gave Millersville an 8-0 advantage over the Golden Eagles.
Charleston showed life at the plate in the bottom of the second with a pair of RBIs from Brice Arrington and Colton Bauer to bring UC within six runs of Millersville. Millersville increased their lead to 10-2 in the top of the third, but Charleston's Arrington hit a 2-RBI singles to centerfield to bring UC within six again.
Austin Hathaway's single in the bottom of the third brought in Charleston's fifth run. Ryan Hunt put UC within three with a 2-RBI single to centerfield to bring the score to 10-7.
Millersville brought in seven more runs to close the game and take the 17-8 victory over the Golden Eagles.
Anthony Zona (5-3) took the loss for the Golden Eagles finishing 1.1 innings after allowing six runs. Brandon Harris tallied seven strikeouts for UC in five innings. Stephen Muscovitch took his first win of the season after pitching one inning for the Marauders while Andrew Mayhew notched his second save of the year after closing out the final four innings of the game.
Brice Arrington led the Golden Eagles from the plate going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Jimmy Cain tallied four hits on six at-bats with four RBIs and three runs in the win.
