CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston (6-0-1, 5-0 MEC) continued their conference campaign with a 5-0 victory over the Shepherd Rams (0-7, 0-5 MEC).

How it Happened
Charleston jumped ahead in the seventh minute with a goal by Kay Maletzki, less than two minutes later Armando Tikvic gave UC the 2-0 advantage after finishing a ball from David Achaerandio.
Neither team found the back of the net to close the first half, but the Golden Eagles opened up the second half with a header from Freddy Tracey to give UC the 3-0 lead. The second half dwindled with the score set a 3-0 in favor of the Golden Eagles.
With less than four minutes to play Alexadre Guichard put away the fourth and final goal for the Golden Eagles, putting the ball in off a deflection on a defender. Three minutes later, Willie N'Dah put a head on a corner kick to give Charleston the 5-0 lead.
Charleston kept the steam on outshoot their opponents 19-0. Charleston would hold onto their lead, taking the 5-0 victory.
