CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles couldn't fight past Queens University of Charlotte on Sunday afternoon, falling 2-0 to the Royals, adding a loss to their 2018 season.

How it Happened
The game between the Golden Eagles and the Royals started out evenly, with scoring opportunities from both sides. However, it was the Royals who got the first goal of the game, putting one in the back of the net in the 37
th minute of play. Queens began to gain more energy from this goal, finishing on another chance with less than two minutes to play in the first half. Heading into the second half, the Golden Eagles trailed behind the Royals 2-0.
The second have started off to a similar story, with both times having equal amounts of possession on the field, and each side gaining offensive momentum with ample opportunities to score. The Golden Eagles however, could not seem to slip one past Queens' keeper, falling to the Royals 2-0.
