CHARLESTON, W.Va. – No. 7 Charleston (8-0-1, 7-0 MEC) remain undefeated in MEC play. Despite poor weather conditions Charleston narrowly escaped the Concord Mountain Lions (2-5-1, 2-3-1 MEC) Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
After a very rainy scoreless start for both teams Armando Tikvic played a ball into the box where David Acahaerandio put it away to give the Golden Eagles the 1-0 lead.
 
The two teams battled the weather through the rest of the second half, but UC held on to win 1-0.
