CHARLESTON, W.Va -- The University of Charleston Women's Soccer team will head north to take on the Hilltoppers of West Liberty University at Hilltopper Soccer Complex this Sunday with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Charleston (5-5, 3-3 MEC), who comes into the contest after dropping their last match to Concord 3-0, takes on a Hilltopper team (2-6-2, 2-3-2 MEC) who dropped a 2-1 decision to Urbana on Wednesday.

Last Game: The Golden Eagles dropped a 3-0 decision to Concord on Wednesday afternoon despite the Mountain Lions having to play a man down for the final 58 minutes of the match after an issued red card occurred on a foul just outside the penalty area. Concord would carry a 1-0 lead into half before scoring two goals after the 75
th minute to give CU the 3-0 advantage.

About the Opposition: Despite owning a 2-6-2 record, the Hilltoppers have proved to be a forceful team in the MEC. West Liberty currently sits at 5
th in the MEC North standings with a 2-3-2 record, losing to Fairmont State once and Urbana twice by a combined five goals. In two matchups against Notre Dame College, there were no goals scored as both contests finished 0-0. Charleston holds 8-3-1 record against the Hilltoppers since the 2012 season and has won six of their last seven contests against West Liberty. In addition, the Golden Eagles have outscored WLU 23-4 in their combined 12 matchups.
