CHARLESTON, W.Va -- The Golden Eagles are hitting the road, heading to West Liberty University to take on the Hilltoppers at Hilltopper Soccer Complex this Sunday with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. Charleston (8-2, 8-0 MEC), comes into the contest 8-0 in conference play after blanking the Concord Mountain Lions on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers (1-8-1, 1-7-1 MEC) are coming off a 0-2 loss to Urbana on Wednesday.

About the Opposition: The 1-8-1 Hilltoppers are coming off two losses to two Ohio opponents in Notre Dame and Urbana. Falling first to the Notre Dame Falcons 7-0, following by a 2-0 loss the Urbana. The Golden Eagles are 3-0 against the Hilltoppers since the formation of the program in 2017, having competed officially for the first time in 2018.
