HOW IT HAPPENED
After a strong first half of defense from both sides, Charleston was able to get on the board just over five minutes into the second half on a goal from Ploutarchos Alonefti on an assist from Christopher Allan. The goal marked Alonefti's first of the evening, as the Golden Eagles prevailed once again in the 68th minute of play after loose ball just outside the box found Alonefti for his second goal of the contest.

Charleston would add one more on some craft footwork from Eduardo Iranzo before finding Joao Lima in front of the net, advancing the Charleston lead and final score to 3-0.

UC was able to hold the Cardinals to no shots in the match while producing 17 of their own, including eight corner kicks from the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles will hit the road to South Euclid, Ohio on Sunday to square off against the Falcons of Notre Dame College with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
