CHARLESTON, W.Va – The University of Charleston Women's Soccer team (6-6-1, 4-4-1 MEC) will host Ubrana University (5-5-1, 5-3-1 MEC) on Wednesday at the Welch Athletic Complex with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Golden Eagles, who come off a 1-0 loss on Sunday at Notre Dame, currently hold the 4
th spot in the MEC South two points behind West Virginia Wesleyan.

About the Opposition: The Blue Knights enter play on Wednesday slotted 3
rd in the MEC North division. Following a four-game MEC win streak followed by a scoreless tie to Davis & Elkins, Urbana fell to West Virginia Wesleyan 1-0 on Thursday. In the contest, Wesleyan was able to outshoot Urbana 10-3 and the game-winning goal came less than four minutes into the contest as Taylor Maucere found the back of the net for the Bobcats.
In their matchup history with Urbana, the Golden Eagles hold a 9-1-1 record against the Blue Knights. UC has shutout the Blue Knights a total of five times and held a seven-game win streak from 2013-16. Charleston has prevailed in the teams' last two matchups, winning both games on the road.
