CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles are set to take on the Davis & Elkins Senators on Wednesday night in the Welch Athletic Complex. Kick off for the MEC matchup is set for 7:00 p.m.

Last Game:  The Golden Eagles continued to solidify their first place position in the MEC standings with a 3-0 victory over the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats. The Golden Eagles were led the previous week by MEC Players of the week, Jordi Ramon and Eduardo Iranzowho each contributed two goals as the Golden Eagles defeated Urbana and Wesleyan.

About the Opposition: The Senators (6-7, 5-7 MEC) are coming off a 1-0 loss to the Urbana Blue Knights on Sunday. The game went nearly 82 minutes before the Urbana found the back of the net, but with 51 seconds to go in regulation the Senators had a chance to tie it up, but Sebastian Ongkowijaya's shot flew wide allowing Urbana to clinch the win. That was the fourth time the Senators had been held scoreless with season.
