WHEELING, W. Va. – The Golden Eagles improve to 7-2 on the season and sit with a 7-0 record in MEC play after a 4-1 win in Wheeling on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was the Cardinals who got on the board first, just 40 seconds into the contest. Miguel Martin put the ball passed the UC goalkeeper to go up 1-0.
At the 12:09 mark
Freddy Tracey but UC on the board finishing a ball played by
Williams N'Dah bringing the score to 1-1. Just over three minutes later
Christopher Allan converted from the PK spot for the Golden Eagles giving them the 2-1 lead.
Just before the end of the first half, Freddy Tracey found the net again, assisted by
Jesus Cabanas giving the Golden Eagles the 3-1 lead before the break.
The final goal for the Golden Eagles came at the 65:14 mark when
Adam Robinson played a ball for
Christos Charalambous who converted making the score 4-1. Charleston held on as time wound down, taking the victory.
UP NEXT
The Golden Eagles will travel to Athens on Wednesday to take on the Concord University Mountain Lions. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m.
