CHARLESTON, W.Va – The University of Charleston Women's Soccer team (8-7-1, 6-5-1 MEC) will travel to MEC newcomer Frostburg State (6-9-1, 6-7 MEC) on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. The Golden Eagles, who come off a critical 2-0 win over the Senators of Davis & Elkins on Wednesday, take on a Bobcat unit (6that holds the 4
th place spot in the MEC North.

Last Game: The Golden Eagles moved into sole possession of 3
rd place in the MEC South with two games remaining in their 2-0 win over Davis & Elkins. The game was quite unorthodox, as UC took a 1-0 lead with three minutes remaining in the half on an own goal from the Senators on a Golden Eagles corner kick.
Just five minutes into the second half, UC was awarded a PK which
Madison Hansen converted on to put the Golden Eagles ahead 2-0. On the next possession, the Senators were awarded a PK of their own that was saved by
Kaylee Hensley to secure her 5
th shutout of the season.

About the Opposition: After coming from Division III, The Bobcats have put together a good first season in the MEC. Currently holding the 4
th place spot in the MEC North, the Bobcats have dropped their last two contests by one goal each. On Wednesday, Frostburg State 's comeback came up short, falling to Urbana 5-4. After trailing 5-0 just minutes into the second half, the Bobcats rifled off four straight goals to bring the game within one with three minutes remaining before falling on the road.
This will be the first matchup between the Bobcats and Golden Eagles in their history.
What's at Stake: The Golden Eagles hold a three-point lead over Davis & Elkins in the MEC South with just two games remaining. After Saturday, the Golden Eagles will host Fairmont State (10-4-2, 9-2-2 MEC) at the WAC on November 6
th with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. The Senators have three games remaining on their schedule, with matchups against Wheeling, West Liberty, and Wesleyan.
