CHARLESTON, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles continue their home slate with a Monday night matchup against the Kentucky State University Thorobreds.
Charleston sits at 2-1 on the season after taking down the Ohio Dominican Panthers 78-66 in their home opener. Charleston was led in the victory by senior forward, Anna Hayton. Hayton tabbed her first double-double of the season with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman point guard Megan Haines notched 14 points in the win.

The Thorobreds also sit at 2-1 on the season, most recently coming off a 92-78 loss to the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets. KSU is led by Carenthia Brown who averages 15.0 ppg. and Amani Williams with 13.3 ppg.
