CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- University of Charleston women's basketball senior Raziyah Farrington has been named Mountain East Player of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Farrington set an NCAA DII Women's Basketball record by going 16-for-16 in UC's midweek win over Fairmont State University, breaking a 34-year old record.  The senior averaged 30 points, 5.5 assists and 3 steals in the Golden Eagles' pair of wins over the Falcons and Shepherd University.  Farrington shot a staggering 85% from the floor going 28-for-33 over the two game stretch and helped UC to their first 20-win season since 2014-15.
