th Mountain East Conference Victory on Saturday behind Anna Hayton's 19 points and eight rebounds. The Golden Eagles improve to 17-3 on the season.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles had a hard fought first half behind Madison Jones' 10 points. Charleston shot a clean 50 percent from the field, but 13 turnovers gave the Falcons their chances to cling to remain in the game. The Golden Eagles jumped to an early nine-point lead in the first quarter, but he Falcons stayed close, taking their first lead with just over a minute to go in the first quarter.
The second half remained tight with neither team leading by more than two points. Abi Oriti lead the Falcons effort with nine points in the first half. Charleston went into the locker room down 2-31-29 after two periods.
Coming out of the break the two teams stayed close again, but the Falcons clung to their lead, making it out of the third period with a one-point edge on the Golden Eagles. Charleston took back their lead with 8:25 to play in regulation after a three-pointer by sophomore guard Brooklyn Pannell. This would be the last lead change of the game. Charleston began to pick away at the Falcons defense increasing their lead with each possession.
The Golden Eagles cut their turnovers in half and shot 59 percent from the field, while senior forward Dionna Sanders notched her first double-double of the season.
