Charleston hung with HU until their third point, but were unable to stay with the visitors throughout the rest of the set. The Golden Eagles knew the importance of this set, and used their offensive force to work the Harvard defense around the court. The last set of play was close between the two sides, until Harvard was able to pull away after their 10
thpoint. Charleston attempted to make up the difference, but weren't successful, falling in the set 25-20, and losing the match 3-0. UC's Adriel Roberts gave the Golden Eagles three kills in the first set of play, while Charleston totaled five block assists throughout the set.
Charleston totaled 25 kills compared to Harvard's 39, and had 24 total assists while HU had 35. The Golden Eagles also totaled 23 digs, while the visitors totaled 29, and finished the match with 38 points while Harvard finished with 50.
