CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston came from behind in both games against the Urbana Blue Knights to sweep the series on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1:
The Golden Eagles found themselves in a 2-0 hole by the top of the fourth inning.
It was in the bottom of the sixth when freshman pitcher, Carly Turner hit a two-run homer to left field to tie the game up 2-2.
In the top of the seventh, Karli Pinkerton singled to score Destinee Miles to take game one 3-2.
Carly Turner went 1-for-2 with two RBI to lead the Golden Eagles offense. She also picked up the win after pitching a complete game.
GAME 2:
Charleston put themselves ahead 1-0 in the top of the first inning as Kendall Marshall scored on an Urbana error, but the Blue Knights answered with a two RBI single from Smallwood in the bottom of the first.
By the bottom of the third inning the Golden Eagles found themselves down 4-1.
Haleigh Christopher brought the Golden Eagles within one run with the two-run homer that scored Pinkerton. The Golden Eagles tied the game up at 4-all in the top of the sixth, before their offense surged in the eighth.
Two runs scored on Brionna Bowman's double to right field, before Bailey Gogia homered to left center for the five-run lead.
Carly Lucas picked up her seventh win of the season. The junior pitched all eight innings for the complete game victory.

Charleston will host the Glenville Pioneers on Thursday April 18. First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
