CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston split with the Concord Mountain Lions on Saturday afternoon, falling in game one 0-2, but taking a 9-1 victory in game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1:
Austin Henrich picked up the loss after the complete game, only allowing two runs on five hits.
Evan Webb singled to left center in the top of the first inning, sending Anthony Stehlin, and Brett Simmons home for the only two runs scored of the game.
The Golden Eagles tallied just two hits in game one, led by Colby Johnson who went 1-for-2 from the plate.
Will Guay earned his fifth win of the season after 7.0 innings, and allowing just two hits.
GAME 2:
Sydney Willis took the loss for the Mountain Lions after 4.1 innings of work, before handing the ball off to Max Arbogast.
Colby Johnson and Hayden Cartt each tallied two hits and combined for two runs scored to lead the Golden Eagles, while four other Golden Eagles tallied and RBI in the win.
After tying the game up 1-1 in the top of the third, Concord allowed the Golden Eagles to score four runs in the bottom of the third to bring the score to 5-1.
The Golden Eagles tacked on four more runs by the bottom of the sixth to hold the 9-1 lead. Concord scored a single run in the top of the seventh, but Charleston came away with the win, and the split on day one of the series.
Brandont Harris picked up the complete game victory, moving to 4-2 on the season.

The Golden Eagles will return to Triana on Sunday to finish the four-game series with the Concord Mountain Lions at 1:00 p.m.
