About the Opposition: Concord (5-1, 1-1 MEC) was edged 2-1 by West Virginia Wesleyan at Culpepper Stadium Wednesday night after Wesleyan struck first with a goal 73 seconds into the game after a Wesleyan throw in bounced around in the box before finding the back of the net. Concord was able to produce 21 shots with only one finding the back of the net while the Bobcats shot the ball just six times, converting twice.
The game marks 17
th time that the teams will square off, with the Golden Eagles holding a 9-4-3 advantage over the Mountain Lions. Charleston's last victory came in the 2017 as the Golden Eagles defeated Concord 1-0.
