BLACKSBURG, Va. – UC's men's cross country has an impressive start to the season while participated in Virginia Tech Invitational.
Charleston came in 2
nd overall behind DI school Virginia Tech. Team leaders Jack Manstandrea and Kyle Hinson finished in the top three for the 6k race. Manstadrea was the 1
st collegiate finisher with a time of 18:38.0, while teammate Hinson was close behind him finishing in 3
rd with a time of 18:49.5. The Eagles had 5 total runners finish in the top 20.
UC defeated two DI schools, Wake Forest and Radford, while only trailing Virginia Tech by 14. Next, the men will travel to Nashville Tennessee to compete in a DII showcase at Trevecca Nazarene University.
