ELKINS, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Men's Basketball team (12-2, 6-2 MEC) extended their win streak to seven games with a 91-57 win over the Davis & Elkins Senators (4-10, 2-6 MEC) on Saturday, Jan. 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior forward, Lamont McManus scored a team high 17 points, while teammate Devon Robinson notched another double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.
The Golden Eagles jumped to an early lead, going 18-for-24 from the field in the first half, led by Seth O'Neal who scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half. The Golden Eagles led by as many as 22 points before the in as a layup by Keith Williams put Charleston up 44-25 just before the break.
Charleston came out in the second half, maintaining their double-digit lead. Leading by as many as 34 points midway through the half, only to end the game with a 34 point margin of victory.
Charleston's defense forced 13 Senator turnovers, capitalizing with 20 points off those miscues while the Golden Eagles committed six more than their opponents.

The Golden Eagles are set to hit the road again on Wednesday to take on the Urbana Blue Knights. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
