Box Score ROMEOVILLE, IL – UC was back out on the court tonight as they took on No. 7 ranked Lewis University. Lewis would go on to take the match by a score of 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Charleston was not able to get much going in the first set as they could only manage to get seven kills on 22 attempts with seven attacking errors netting them a .000 hitting percentage. The Flyers were able to put together 13 kills on 22 attempts with three errors resulting in a .455 hitting percentage. Lewis went on to take the set comfortably by a score of 25-15.
Charleston was able to put up more of a fight in the second set. UC was able to match the Flyers in kills as both teams managed to get off 12. UC had a .214 hitting percentage on 28 total attacks along with six attacking errors. Lewis had 29 total attacks with four attacking errors netting them a .276 hitting percentage. Charleston also had four service errors and Lewis was able to get off three aces and three blocks. The Flyers would take advantage of those points to take the set by a score of 25-22.
UC was not able to force the fourth set as they tallied seven kills with nine attacking errors on 27 attempts giving them a -.074 hitting percentage. Lewis managed to add 11 kills to their night on 25 attempts and one attacking error giving them a .400 hitting percentage. The Flyers took the set 25-15 and took the game in straight sets.
