CHARLESTON, W Va. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles men's volleyball team will be at home this weekend as they will play their first home games of the 2020 season against Princeton University. They are scheduled to play on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, Jan. 11 at 4:00 pm.
Princeton is currently 0-3 on the early 2020 campaign as they took losses from No. 8 UC Irvine, No. 12 USC and No. 2 UCLA all on the road.
Charleston is coming off of two straight losses from their trip to Hawaii where they took on No. 1 ranked Hawaii University. The Rainbow Warriors took both matches in three sets over the Golden Eagles.
When looking at the match history between UC and Princeton, the Golden Eagles have a 2-6 record against the Tigers. Charleston has a 2-1 record when playing Princeton at home. Looking back at their previous two matches in 2019, Charleston fell in both as the Tigers took the first match by a score of 3-0 and the second match 3-1.
These two matches mark the first EIVA conference games of the early 2020 season for both teams.
