The Pioneers are coming fresh off of a loss to Barton College where they fell in three sets. They will look to bounce back and gain their first conference win of the season against the Golden Eagles.

Charleston is coming off of a weekend split where they found themselves getting losing in three sets to the Patriots from George Mason and then came back the following day with a victory over the Pioneers from Tusculum University in three sets. That win broke a five-game losing streak and helped the Golden Eagles gain some momentum heading into this weekend.
