BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins' Honesty Holt is the Mountain East Conference Player of the Week, while the University of Charleston's Danielle Bauer is the league's Pitcher of the Week. 

Holt, a freshman from Bentonville, Ark., hit 13-for-19 (.684) with two doubles, four RBI and three walks in six games last week. Holt guided the Senators to a 4-2 record last weekend, sweeping St. Andrews and Fayetteville State. She has recorded a hit in each of the first eight games this season. 

Bauer, a freshman from Tallahassee, Fla., tallied three wins on the week, pitching 18.2 innings with 23 strikeouts. Bauer guided the Golden Eagles to wins over Claflin and Barton. In the first game against Claflin, she struck out 11 of the 22 batters faced and allowed just two hits.
