Box Score UNIVERSITY PARK, PA—The Golden Eagles got back out on the court this evening as they had a match with the Nittany Lions from Penn State University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Charleston did not show very well in the first set as they fell by a large margin to the Nittany Lions 25-11. UC could not get things going in terms of offense as they only managed to garner four kills on 19 attempts with six attacking errors giving them a -.105 hitting percentage. Penn State had a total of only seven kills in the set on 19 attempts with four errors giving them a .158 percentage. Penn state had six aces, five blocks and three service errors in set one. 
 
Charleston would put up more of a fight in the second set as they were able to put together 20 points. They lost the set however by a score of 20-25. UC had 10 kills on 19 attempts with five attacking errors giving them a percentage of .263. Penn State had 12 kills on 18 attempts with no errors netting them a .667 hitting percentage. Charleston had three aces, no blocks and seven service error sin the set. The Nittany Lions had four aces, two blocks and four service errors. 
 
UC could not answer in the third set. They had only four kills on 16 attempts with five errors giving them a -.062 hitting percentage. Penn State had 11 kills on 22 attempts with five errors giving them a percentage of .273. Charleston had no aces, one block and seven service errors. Penn State had four aces, three blocks and five service errors.
