Philippi, W. Va- Charleston Women's Soccer looked to keep their winning streak alive on Wednesday night against the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus. The Golden Eagles had won their last three games and are in search of a postseason birth.

Charleston came into the day locked in at 3
rd place in the South Division and looking to gain ground on rival West Virginia State.

The Golden Eagles dominated the match, collecting five goals by four different goal scorers.
As usual, UC dominated in shots taken and corners, always giving themselves ample opportunities to score.

Keira Hill collected her second and third goals of the year in the 22
nd and 50
th minute respectively. Sydney Cavender collected her first of the year in the 35
th minute. The veteran midfielder Alex Speight punched her first goal into the books in the 67
th minute. Rachel Osborne rounded it out with a goal of her own just four minutes later, her second of the season.

Goalkeeper Kaylee Hensley collected just two saves en route to her seventh clean sheet of the season. Defender Lotte Bovy also tacked on two assists in the blowout effort.

Up Next
The ladies will return to the Welch Athletic Complex in Charleston on Sunday afternoon. They will take on West Virginia Wesleyan in hopes of extending their win streak to five games.
