How It Happened
Senior night started with early pressure from the visiting Bobcats, however the Golden Eagles would settle down and control possession for much of the first half.

The Golden Eagles had plenty of scoring opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net. The first half would end in a scoreless tie.

After the halftime senior day festivities, it was back to business in the second half. Kaylee Hensley made the first of her multiple amazing saves on the night. With a streaking Frostburg striker coming in hot, Hensley came off her line and made a beautiful kick save. .

A few minutes later Sydney Cavender pulled off a spectacular move to get around a defender and find the back of the net while falling on her back. The goal would put the Golden Eagles up 1-0 early in the second half. She was assisted by fellow senior Roberta Pomi.

A few minutes later, Frostburg would threaten again, sending a long ball into the box. Kaylee Hensley made a great play to save the first shot, then on the rebound Hensley dove full extension to keep Frostburg off the board.

The second goal came in the 70th minute off the right foot of freshman Audrey Miller. She got a pass on the right wing from Kiera Hill and launched a shot from about 25 yards out. She would just sneak it past the goalkeeper from Fairmont.

The two goals would be all it would take to finish senior day with a win. The seniors honored have put in tons of hours into perfecting their craft and making UC a wonderful place to be.

A big shoutout is due to all 12 seniors: Kaylee Hensley, Kassandra Demps, Katy O'Reilly, Lotte Bovy, Alex Speight, Jess Seaton, Kate Eddy, Keira Hill, Roberta Pomi, Madison Hansen, Balie Destefano, and Sydney Cavender. Thank You.
