How it Happened

Charleston (17-1-1) secured the league's automatic berth with the victory. Davis & Elkins (16-1-2) is expected to be in the mix for an at-large berth when the full field is announced on Monday.

UC wasted little time in getting on the board as Adam Robinson tallied a goal in just the seventh minute. Gabriel Rodriguez doubled the lead after he finished a feed from Eduardo Iranzo in the 25th minute. The Golden Eagles then scored twice within a minute to stretch the lead to 4-0 on goals from Alexis Ledoux and Adrian Camacho to send the team in the locker room up 4-0.

The Senators got on track in the second half but could not break through until the game's waning seconds as Alex Estrada-Avila converted a penalty to make it a 4-1 final.

After UC out-shot Davis & Elkins, 8-2, in the first half, the Senators returned the favor holding a 9-1 advantage in the second 45 minutes. Each goalkeeper was credited with four saves in the match.
