ATHENS, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Women's Soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season with a great conference win over Concord University on Friday night. The Golden Eagles hit the scoreboard in the first five minutes of the game and never looked back, defeating the Mountain Lions 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Charleston got on the board quick and never looked back, as
Katy O'Reilly notched her first goal of the season in the 5
th minute of the game, Charleston's first shot attempt of the game.
As the half continued, the defensive effort by both the Mountain Lions and the Golden Eagles remained intact until
Rachel Osborne found the back of the net for her second goal of the season at the 42:41 mark. The goal allowed for Charleston to head into the half with a bit of extra security, holding a 2-0 lead.
Out of the break, Osborne was back at it again in the 59
th minute, scoring her second of the game and third of the season to push the Charleston lead to three.
Less than three minutes later, the Golden Eagles capped off the scoring for the game as
Jessica Seaton found the back of the net to give Charleston a 4-0 lead and one that would stand.
The win marks Charleston's first win over Concord in their last six matchups, as the Golden Eagles last won on September 8, 2017. The four-goal victory marked the largest for the Golden Eagles over the Mountain Lions since 2010.
