CHARLESTON, W. Va.– The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Women's soccer team suffered their first loss to the Concord Mountain Lions on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The two teams battled for over 59 minutes before the Mountain Lions score in the 60th minute as Courtney Smith played the ball across the face of the goal, finding the foot of Leah Foster for the 1-0 lead.
Carol Burgess and Kaylee Hensley each made a save for the Golden Eagles facing a total three shots on goal.
The Golden Eagles posted a 5-2 advantage on corner kicks as well as a 7-6 shot difference.

The Golden Eagles will travel to Glenville State Friday night to face the Pioneers.
