Postseason Run Comes to an End as Charleston Falls to Millersville 3-1

CHARLESTON, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Baseball team's baseball season came to an end on Saturday evening with a 3-1 loss to the Marauders from Millersville University. After a hard-fought weekend, the Golden Eagles were outmatched in an emotional nightcap.

After taking a scoreless game into the bottom half of the fifth inning, Millersville put together three runs with a pair of outs. After Jimmy Losh singled home a run, Luke Trainer hit a blooper that was lost in the lights between Charleston second baseman Bryce Toussaint, and right fielder Hayden Cartt which brought home two.

Despite plating a run in the eighth on a Drew Hefner single, Charleston was unable to match the Marauders.
