The Golden Eagles went down after a penalty kick gave the Bobcats a lead at the 31:02 mark in the first half. Scoring would be limited but striking chances for Charleston were not. The Golden Eagles accumulated 18 shots with 9 on goal in the contest.
The pressure was on with UC scrambling in the closing minutes of the second half. Down by 1 with less than 7 minutes left, Roberta Pomi found the foot of Laura Vierhout who would hammer home the equalizer.

Keira Hilland sophomore
Lotte Bovy. The exciting overtime finish was the first of the year for the Golden Eagles. UC would also improve to 2-0 in conference play with the win.
