The Basics
Location: Mueller Field
Score: UC 0, NDC 2
Records: UC (6-6-0, 6-4-0 MEC), NDC (4-4-3, 3-3-3 MEC)

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles came into this matchup off of an 8-1 win at home over Wheeling University, whereas the Falcons had tied in their previous matchup 1-1 against Davis & Elkins.

Notre Dame's Maridza Desir, a freshman from Quebec, Canada, was the only name written down on the scorecard in this one as she sent home two goals at home. Her first of the day came in the 24th minute as she managed to get through Charleston's defensive front and place her shot underneath keeper Jordan Maynard to take the 1-0 lead.

Just before the half in the 44th minute of play, Notre Dame's Aria Evans-Roskos took a shot at the goal that bounced off the left post. Desir would patiently follow up for the rebound right in front of the net and tapped it in for her second of the day.

In the second half, Charleston put up nine shots and held the Falcons to only one, but they were unable to find one past keeper Jordan Pasalaqua and Notre Dame would steal one at home with the final score of 0-2.

Up Next
