How it Happened
Charleston managed to put up 23 shots throughout the matchup, while Concord was only able to find a single shot in the first half. With post-season play approaching soon, the Golden Eagles made sure to finish out the regular season firing on all cylinders.

The first goal of the match came in the 23rd minute of play from the penalty mark. Joao Belmudes would be called upon for the penalty kick and he would make the most of his chance as he easily placed the ball on the right side of the net for the 1-0 advantage.

Four minutes later, Charleston's Eduardo Iranzo would score his fourth goal of the year. The ball was played high in the air within Concord's box and found its way to Iranzo who had zero hesitation on the one-timer. It rolled into the bottom right corner of the net and Charleston would cushion their lead to 2-0.

With the announcement of a minute left in the first half, the Golden Eagles quickly scored their third goal of the match on a textbook play. Connor Hartwell took his space in the middle of the field and found a Mattheo Ledoux in the box. Ledoux took one touch to roll the ball in front of the net to Santiago Hoyos who finished the play with a quick touch underneath the Mountain Lion keeper for the 3-0 lead going into the locker room.

Charleston's fourth goal would come in the 55th minute of play on a highlight-reel score from Paul Caliari. Javier Sanchez found Caliari on the left wing with a long ball and the Frenchman would take care of the rest as he sent a missile from 20 yards away into the upper corner of the net for the 4-0 lead.

The final goal of the match came in the 61st minute of play as Hoyos would find his second of the game, but this time with his head. Sam Bethell played a cross into the box from the endline and found Hoyos for the fifth and final goal of the game with Charleston taking this one 5-0.
