CHARLESTON, W.Va - The University of Charleston's women volleyball program celebrated senior weekend as the team enters the last week of the regular season. The Golden Eagles added two more wins in the Wehrle Innovation Center to remain undefeated at home on the season.

How It Happened: vs. St. Augustine
The first match of the day saw UC compete against the Falcons of St. Augustine. The Golden Eagles hit the ground running, as they jumped out to a 10-5 lead in the first set and never looked back. UC would go on to win the first set 25-14 on a Pia Selke kill. The first set saw Charleston's highest hitting percentage of any set, at .321%.
UC fell behind in the second set, but a Morgan Walter service ace would tie the score at 21-21. The Golden Eagles would go on to win the set 25-24 on a St. Augustine service error.
The third set was much like the first set, as the Golden Eagles would jump out to a 10-6 lead, this time on a kill from McKenzie Carpenter. UC went on to win the set 25-16 on a kill from McKenzie Damon. The Golden Eagles swept the match winning 3-0.
Offensively UC was led by Damon with 13 kills and Hernandez with 19 assists. Defensively, Erin Carmody led the way with 16 digs.

How It Happened: vs. Central State
The nightcap saw the Golden Eagles taking on Central State. The first set saw the Golden Eagles jump out to a 14-7 lead, taking the first set 25-15 on a kill from Hannah Plummer.
The second set was even more dominated by UC as they would jump out to an 18-7 lead before going on a 7-0 run to take the set 25-7 on a service ace from Abby Avila.
The third set wasn't much different as UC jumped out to a 10-2 lead. They would go on to take the set 25-14 on a kill from Plummer. They would take the match 3-0. Offensively, Jaxin Melby led the way with 10 kills and Avila led the way with 18 assists. Defensively, Carmody led the way with 11 digs.
