Elkins, W. Va- Transfer Markyia McCormick had another big game and led the Golden Eagles past Davis and Elkins on Saturday afternoon 73-63.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles used a big first quarter to take control of the game early in Elkins. They outscored the Senators 26-17 in the period due to a 47% shooting percentage.
Both teams would score 11 in the second with five different Golden Eagles tallying points in the quarter. At half the score was 37-28 in favor of Charleston.
The Golden Eagles were outscored 18-17 in the third with two threes coming from Abby Lee and Dakota Reeves.
UC closed it out by scoring 19 in the final quarter with Markyia McCormick tallying the first four points off a layup and two made free throws. Sierra Davis also added four points in the final period. UC would go on to take the game by a final score of 73-63.
They improved their record to 14-7 with a 12-5 conference record.
