Charleston, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles defeat the Bobcats at home 4-0 with four different goal scorers.

How it Happened:
Just six minutes into the match, a Charleston attacker found themselves fouled in the box resulting in a penalty shot. Joao Belmudes stepped up to the penalty shot for Charleston and with his slow run up, Belmudes sent the Bobcat keeper diving to his right and taking his shot down the middle of the goal.
With all the momentum on their side, Charleston found their second goal of the afternoon just a few moments later. The second Golden Eagle goal came by way of corner kick taken by Franco Tradatti who found the head of Juan Hermoso just inside the six. Hermoso headed the ball into the back of the net to give Charleston the 2-0 lead.
In the twenty third minute of the match, Joao Belmudes found Stafford Dowling in the box. With the strike of his right foot, Dowling gave Charleston their third goal of the half.
In the thirty-eighth minute of the half, Joe Gasper dribbled past several Bobcat defenders on the left wing, sending a pass toward the goal. Eduardo Barros came in behind the keeper and sent the Gasper pass into the goal for to give Charleston the 4-0 advantage.
The Golden Eagles would take their shots in the second half, but could not find another goal in the match. Charleston picks up their eighth clean sheet of the season with the victory.
