Kansas City, MO. - Several Golden Eagles Named 2023 Division II All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches.

Charleston had three First Team selections and two All American Second Team selections for the 2023 season.

Senior goalkeeper
Marc Torrado was named to the United Soccer Coaches All American First Team after his stellar performance this season. Torrado allowed six goals along with thirty-three saves for a .846 save percentage. Along with being named to the United Soccer Coaches All American list, Torrado was the only Golden Eagle to be named to the D2CCA All American list, earning a Second Team position. Torrado was also named to the D2CCA Atlantic Region First Team and the Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Year along with First Team recognition.

Sophomore defender
Franco Tradatti was the second Charleston player named to the United Soccer Coaches All American First Team. Tradatti had two goals and seven assists this season for Charleston while also being named to the D2CAA Atlantic Region First Team and the Mountain East Conference First Team.

The third All American First Team member was sophomore forward
Joao Belmudes. The Brazil native had ten goals and five assists in twenty games played for Charleston. Belmudes was named to the D2CCA Atlantic Region First Team along with the 2023 Mountain East Conference First Team.

Sophomore midfielder
Giorgos Diakos was named to the All American Second Team after also being named to the Mountain East Conference Second Team. The Cyprus native scored ten goals with five assists in his twenty-one games played for the Golden Eagles this season.

Junior forward
Stafford Dowling was the final Golden Eagle to earn United Soccer Coaches All American honors. The junior was named to the Second Team after posting seven goals and eight assists for Charleston in twenty games played. Dowling was named to the D2CCA Atlantic Region Second Team and the Mountain East Conference Honorable Mention Team.
