NC4K College Classic Leaderboard
Blacklick, Ohio. – The Golden Eagle Women's Golf team finished sixth in the annual NC4K Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican University. Charleston finished with a 645 team score over the two day tournament.
Jefferson Country Club would be the location for Charleston Women's Golf's second tournament of the spring season. Fresh off a victory at the Battle of Brunswick tournament in North Carolina, the Golden Eagles looked to continue their success in their spring campaign.
After the first round on Monday, Charleston was in seventh place shooting a combined score of 325.
Victoria Witouski led the way for the Golden Eagles in round one. She opened with a team best 77, making one of Charleston's five birdies on the day. She finished the tournament tied for 35
th.
In round two Charleston moved up one spot into sixth, combining for a score of 320 in their second round.
Iciar Canalejo shot the low round of the tournament, firing a 71 on Tuesday afternoon. The freshman made three birdies on the back nine at Jefferson Country Club and finished in a tie for 10
th overall.
The Golden Eagles will compete next weekend at the MEC Spring Classic in Lexington, VA next weekend April 15-16.
