South Euclid, Ohio. – Charleston defeated the Falcons of Notre Dame College on Sunday afternoon 2-0.

How it Happened:
The first half was even matched with both teams taking several shots and trading possession, until the Charleston Golden Eagles struck first. In the thirty-first minute of the match, a set piece corner was sent into the box where
Tristen Rose got a touch on it and passed it to
Ken Raghoebar.
Ken Raghoebar found the top left of the goal to give Charleston the 1-0 advantage.
The lone goal was enough to send Charleston into the locker room at the half with the lead over the Falcons of Notre Dame College.
The second half was scoreless until the eighty-fifth minute when
Stafford Dowling got tangled up and taken to the ground in an attempt at the goal. The foul resulted in a penalty which would be taken by
Jack Kay. In his first appearance for Charleston this season,
Jack Kay sent his first goal of the year into the back of the net, giving Charleston the 2-0 lead.
The remaining four minutes wound down and as the buzzer sounded it was Charleston who was victorious in the Sunday afternoon conference matchup over Notre Dame.
The 2-0 victory improves Charleston to 5-1 on the season and 3-1 in Mountain East Conference play.
