LOCK HAVEN, Pa.—University of Charleston Men's and Women's Cross Country dominated at the Lock Haven Invitational, as both teams finished in first place. 
The men started the day off at the Lock Haven Invitational in the Men's 8k Crimson Race. Freshman George Couttie cruised to a first place finish with a time of 23:40.1, which set the course record. This finish was also the second fastest 8k time in school history. Sophomore Matthys Bourse finished in second place right behind Couttie with a time of 23.46.7, while junior Iggy Chalker crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 24:08.4. UC Men's Cross Country finished in first place with a score of 60.
The women also proved to be successful in the Women's 6k Crimson Race, as they finished in first place with a score of 84. Sophomore Julie LaFare was the first Golden Eagle to cross the finish line, as she finished in third place with a time of 20:51.5. This third place finish set a new school record for the 6k.
