How it Happened:
Frankie Morrow opened the scoring at 6:39 with an assist from Lina Jaime, giving Charleston a 1-0 lead. Just over a minute later, at 7:06, Demari Curry doubled the lead with help from Cassidy Collins and Jamie Bland, making it 2-0.
Charleston continued to press, creating multiple scoring opportunities. Jamie Bland and Frankie Morrow each had shots saved by Salem's goalie. Despite Salem's defensive efforts, Charleston maintained a consistent attack. The Tiger keeper made several crucial saves, preventing further goals as Charleston dominated possession and shots on goal.
Juliette Lucas found the net at 32:49, assisted by Isabella Cinco, bringing the score to 3-0 just before the period closed. As the period ended, Charleston showcased a strong performance, leading 3-0 over Salem, with their offensive strategy proving effective against Salem's defense.
The second half saw Charleston continuing their dominant performance, adding four more goals to their tally and showcasing their offensive strength.
