Pittsburg, Pa. – Charleston defeats Point Park 4-0 on the road to improve to 9-1 in the Mountain East Conference.

How it Happened:
Juliette Lucas, the league's top scorer, kicked off the game by scoring the first two goals for Charleston. In the 37th minute, Demari Curry set up Lucas for the opening goal, giving UC a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Lucas added another goal in the 55th minute, finding the net unassisted from inside the box to extend the lead to 2-0. Frankie Morrow then made it 3-0 for UC with a goal assisted by Linsey Hackney in the 64th minute.
Just three minutes later, UC's Jamie Bland navigated through the Point Park defense to score on the left side, pushing the visitors' lead to 4-0.
Charleston dominated the match with a 20-11 advantage in shots, including a 10-4 lead in shots on target. UC also led in corner kicks, 5-3.
For UC, Jordan Maynard and Sofia Chaverra combined for the shutout, with Maynard starting and playing the first 78 minutes of the match.
