Buckhannon, W. Va. – The Golden Eagles improved to 11-1 in Conference play after defeating the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats 1-0 in a Sunday evening road match.

How it Happened:
The first half under the lights at Culpepper Stadium was scoreless, Charleston taking nine shots to Wesleyan's three. Despite their offensive efforts, the Golden Eagles could not muster a goal, heading into the locker rooms at the half tied 0-0 with the Bobcats.
Just four minutes into the second half, Charleston senior right winger,
Cassidy Collins sent a cross shot over the Bobcat keeper into the back of the net for the Golden Eagles to take a 1-0 lead.
The Golden Eagles would take seven more shots in the half, Wesleyan not managing any shots.
Charleston would hold onto their 1-0 lead for the victory, improving to 11-1 in Mountain East Conference play.
The lone goal from
Cassidy Collins was her third of the season.
