Charleston opened the game on fire, outscoring Bluefield State 24-8 in the first quarter behind eight perfect points from Harper Annarino, who went 4-for-4 from the field. Sydney Bolles added six points in the opening frame to spark the offense.
The second quarter saw Charleston extend its lead, closing the half up 43-20. Kiley Graham made her presence felt on both ends of the court, tallying six points and grabbing four rebounds. The Golden Eagles' defense limited Bluefield State to just 23.5% shooting in the quarter.
In the third, Charleston maintained its momentum, with Annarino and Jamia Nesmith continuing to dominate in the paint. The team scored another 19 points while holding their opponents to 17, keeping the game firmly in their control.
Charleston sealed the win in the final quarter with another strong showing. Annarino capped off her impressive outing with a game-high 17 points and six rebounds, while Bolles finished with 15 points and four rebounds. The Golden Eagles' bench contributed 38 points, showcasing their depth.
With this win, Charleston shot an efficient 54.8% from the field and dominated the rebounding battle 44-24. Their relentless defense forced 20 turnovers, translating into 21 points.
