How It Happened
The Bobcats rolled at home in the first half, scoring 10 unanswered goals through the first two quarters of action. Charleston managed four shots in the fourth quarter with three on frame, but Frostburg State goalkeeper Whitney Crosby was a brick wall between the posts and allowed for no goals in the first 23 minutes of action. Neila Haney would earn her hat trick at the 8:31 mark of the second quarter to give her squad the 10-0 advantage over the visitors. Charleston would find two back-to-back goals in the second quarter; Darby Stolz found the first at the 6:41 mark of the period off the assist from Hayden Slinkard followed by Tess Yuhas' goal off the pass from Gianni Blundell to cut the lead to eight. The Bobcats would squash the momentum and score two goals of their own just before the halftime break to take the 12-2 lead into the locker room.

Following the halftime break, Charleston went on a 4-1 run to begin trimming the Frostburg State advantage down, with Madison Partridge's first of the game putting the Golden Eagles within seven of the Bobcats. Frostburg State would maintain their lead and rattle off six more scores to put the game out of reach. The Bobcats would take the 19-8 victory over Charleston at Bobcat Stadium.

Slinkard, Partridge, and Stolz would each end the contest with two goals each. After facing 37 total shots from Frostburg State, Megan Liston compiled 12 saves on the day for the Golden Eagles.
