Men's Tennis dominates the weekend with two wins in Tennessee

Harrogate, TN - The Golden Eagles Men's Tennis team was on the road this weekend to face Lincoln Memorial University and Belmont Abbey College in Tennessee.

Day 1

University of Charleston 6, Lincoln Memorial 1

The University of Charleston men's tennis team put on a dominant performance, securing a 6-1 victory over Lincoln Memorial. The Golden Eagles showcased resilience in key moments, winning five of six singles matches and claiming the doubles point after a pair of hard-fought victories.

Doubles Action:

Charleston dropped the No. 1 doubles match, but the duo of Jorge Perez and Marcelo Pinto responded with a solid 6-3 win at No. 2. The deciding point came down to Louay Makke and Alberto Nordio, who edged out their opponents in a tense 7-6 battle at No. 3, securing the doubles point for UC.

The University of Charleston men's tennis team continued their strong season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Belmont Abbey. The Golden Eagles dominated in doubles and maintained control in singles to secure the shutout win.
