Chi Alpha Sigma 2026 Inductees

| By:

Charleston, W.Va. – University of Charleston Athletics welcomed fifty-three student-athletes into the 2026 Chi Alpha Sigma Induction class on Monday evening.

UC's Chi Alpha Sigma chapter gives the university an opportunity to honor those four-year collegiate student-athletes that have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. To be eligible to join the honor society, the student-athlete must participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full-time semester, display strong moral character, and earn a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

Established in 1996, Chi Alpha Sigma continues to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime. Charleston's Chi Alpha Sigma Chapter was founded in 2010 by Director of Athletics, Dr. Bren Stevens. This is the 15th induction class at the University of Charleston.

University of Charleston is one of five institutions from the state of West Virginia that has this chapter. The other five schools from West Virginia feature Glenville State College, Shepherd University, West Virginia Wesleyan College, and Bluefield State College.
